About Men Wear Pink
About Men Wear Pink
Men Wear Pink campaign ambassadors across the nation are stepping up and using the power of wearing pink to raise funds as we work to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. In fact, every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save more lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, breakthrough breast cancer discovery and research, and lifesaving patient support.
What Does It Take to Be An Ambassador?
Men Wear Pink ambassadors raise awareness and money to help end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. Of course, the top fundraiser claims bragging rights as the #1 ambassador nationwide. As a Men Wear Pink ambassador, leaders commit to:
Showing off your strength in style by wearing pink throughout October
Raising awareness for the cause through their personal, professional and social media networks
Raising a minimum of $2,500 to help the American Cancer Society fight breast cancer
Apart from skin cancers, breast cancer is the most common cancer type in women. In fact,
In 2023:
APPROXIMATELY
290,560people will be diagnosed with breast cancer
AN ADDITIONAL
51,400cases of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) will be diagnosed in women
If you or someone you love is concerned about developing breast cancer, have been recently diagnosed, are going through treatment, or are trying to stay well after treatment, we can help you find the answers you need.
The success of the Men Wear Pink program depends on the creativity and commitment of our past and current ambassadors. We recognize these prior top ambassadors who went above and beyond. After all, fueling many of the American Cancer Society's lifesaving research and patient programs isn’t possible without the help of community leaders like this distinguished group of supporters.
Would you like to lead the team or join the team?
This isn’t what I wanted.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
