Introducing the Making Strides Sand & Sea Getaway Drawing! Here’s your chance to get away for a little rest and relaxation after the Making Strides season! All participants who hit Grand Club status, or higher, by Nov. 12 are eligible to win a four-night, all-inclusive stay at one of five destinations: Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, and Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

Participants who have raised $1,000 receive one entry
Participants who have raised $2,500 receive two entries
For every additional $2,500 raised after reaching Pacesetter status, receive 1 additional entry! (up to three total entries per household)

If you’ve already raised at least $1,000 through your event this season, you’re already entered! There are 46 chances to win, so keep fundraising through November 12, and don’t forget to check out the many fundraising tips and resources here. No entry submissions are necessary, we have that covered for you!

Official Rules

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Donations may be made in any amount via credit card, PayPal, and mobile app donations (including checks deposited via the app) qualify, no cash, through your personal fundraising page at www.MakingStridesWalk.org. The Sand & Sea Getaway Drawing is open to legal U.S. residents currently residing in all fifty (50) states and Puerto Rico, who are at least 18 years old or 19+ in AL and NE, 21+ in MS. Void outside the 50 U.S./D.C. and where prohibited. Sweepstakes ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 11/12/21. ACS/ACS CAN staff and family members, along with ACS event chairs and committee members, are not eligible. Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone the week of November 22, 2021. Welcome to our Team Page. We've formed a team because this cause is important to us. We want to help. And walking and raising money in our local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is the best way we can do that. We all have different reasons for participating but we share a determination to help save lives from breast cancer.

There are so many ways that the money our team raises helps. It’s helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It’s providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause.

How We Support the American Cancer Society

Of course we walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. And we solicit donations from family, friends, and other supporters. But we also schedule fundraisers in lead-up to the big event. Bake-sales, car washes, and countless other types of events. And we promote those on social media, through Facebook and Twitter, by word of mouth, and through flyers at work and around the neighborhood. The success of fundraising events depends on two things - hard work and getting the word out. And we're out to do both. Keep an eye out for our fundraising events.
