Fundraising
ResearcHERS Ambassadors commit to raising a minimum of $2,500 during the month of May. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to meet this goal. Once you’re registered as an Ambassador, start simple - ask friends and family to help support women-led cancer research by making a donation. Then, expand your reach to broader personal and professional contacts through social media to help meet your fundraising goal.

Impact Of Fundraising
Each of our Ambassadors is proof that one person can make a difference when it comes to fighting cancer. By raising funds to fuel women-led research, our Ambassadors are helping to support a variety of research projects, including:
Translational Cancer Research
works to move discoveries we make in the lab more quickly and efficiently into practice.
Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry of Cancer
focuses on the genes involved in cancer, and how alterations to those genes play a role in the disease - including preventing and treating cancer.
Cancer Cell Biology and Metastasis
seeks to better understand cancer cells so they can be more effectively controlled and eliminated.
Clinical Cancer Research, Nutrition, and Immunology
focuses on therapies for treating cancer, as well as how the environment, nutrition, and physical activity impact cancer in every stage.
Cancer Control and Prevention Research
focuses on the development and testing of strategies to promote positive health behaviors and improve healthcare delivery.
Would you like to lead the team or join the team?
This isn’t what I wanted.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
