Rick Roberts
On-Air Personality M-F 3-7P, Sat 1-5P/Program Director/Digital Content Producer
93Q
CNY native Rick Roberts has a job that would make many envious he gets to listen to his favorite music all day long. As an on-air personality for 93Q (The #1 Hit Music Station!) Rick plays the hit music of the day, shares news, interviews guests, and has a lot of fun! Off the mic, as the program director, he schedules all the music that will play on 93Q, meaning he spends a lot of time talking and meeting with record labels, and learning about artists and their music. Rick is also in charge of all the social media accounts for 93Q (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc), and runs 93Q.com.
Has this all prepared him to take on the Men Wear Pink challenge? Long hours in the studio, and lots of experience out and about in Central NY may come in handy as he now commits to raising funds and awareness about the issue of breast cancer. This married father of two knows how important this challenge is. After helping to emcee the Making Strides walk every year, he has seen first-hand how many people this disease affects.
Join him for his Taking Shots At Breast Cancer Fundraiser, where he goes on Facebook Live, shoots ten shots from 25 feet, and each one he makes that days sponsor(s) donates $10.00 or more to his campaign. Last year Rick raised over $7,000!
In addition to a passion for music, Rick loves the action on the basketball court and can often be found officiating youth/high school games and men's recreational leagues. Follow him on social media (Facebook: RickRoberts93Q, TikTok: Rick93Q, Instagram: Roberts_Rick) to make sure he is wearing his PINK in October!
