I graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) in 1997. My wife Joey and I moved back to Dallas (I’m from the Irving area) in 1998 and we got married in 2002. In 2013 we welcomed our one and only child, Nolan and it has been a game changer! He is the BEST thing that has happened to us! My wife & I love live music and go as often as we can! I also enjoy traveling, golfing with my buddies, & watching sports! Our family is really small on both sides, so our close friends are like family to us!
After 10 years in the industry, I started Peak Roofing & Construction in 2012 with the mindset of offering a better alternative to people for roofing & exterior services. My passion for customer service, integrity, & quality craftsmanship is why I wanted my own family business, focusing on doing things the right way. My team & I’s goal is to give 110 percent on every job and every interaction with customers.
How has cancer overall, and specifically breast cancer, impacted you or your loved ones?
Breast cancer took my Aunt Evelyn’s life too early and my wife’s grandmother survived breast and ovarian cancer, but recently passed away from bone cancer in August of this year. We have known friends with breast cancer diagnosis and thankfully early detection and treatment saved them. Our office manager, Cindy has had two scares with lumps in her breast, but thankfully both after surgery and biopsy have been benign.
What are you most excited about being involved in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign?
I’m thrilled to be able to raise awareness & money for a cause that affects so many people, both men and women. My team at Peak Roofing & Construction are ready to help in raising awareness by wearing our white Peak hats with our logo in pink. We’re also inserting cards about the campaign in our sales folders and on our yard signs to bring as much attention as we can! We plan to continue with this campaign on a yearly basis!
