Why I’m Participating
in a Relay For Life Event
I know there are a lot of worthy causes to support, but I think participating
in an event that helps save lives from cancer is about as worthy as it gets.
That’s why I decided to raise funds and walk in an American Cancer Society
Relay For Life event.
Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their own personal
battle or through the battle of someone they love, and this disease has taken
too much from too many. I’m participating in the Relay For Life event because I
know I am making a difference in the fight to end cancer by raising funds and
cancer awareness.
A Relay For Life event is not only a way to join my community to fight back
against cancer, but it is also a way to inspire hope by raising funds and
cancer awareness to help those facing a diagnosis.
Why I’m Fundraising
By raising funds and walking in a Relay For Life event, I am participating in
the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission, and I would really appreciate
your support! The funds I raise helps fund important cancer research,
supports cancer patient programs and services, and goes toward other important
activities that help save lives from cancer.
Why I Volunteer with the American Cancer Society
By walking in a Relay For Life event I join more than four million global
volunteers who are dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer. This is my
opportunity to honor the cancer survivors in my life, remember friends and
family I have lost, and to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s
lifesaving mission.
Please join my team or make a donation in support of my efforts. Thank you!
Together, we WILL finish the fight!
If you are unable to donate online, please print a donation form to mail in your donation.
