Through Relay, I have helped save lives, and helped make lives better
My reasons to Relay are many, but my heroes are my family members,
My mother is a 18 year, 2 time breast cancer survivor and my father is a 3 year prostate cancer survivor, and my brother is a 3 year Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor.
Their cancers were diagnosed early, and as a result, their treatment plans were minimized.
But cancer hasn't just impacted them.
My loved ones have fought over 20 types of cancer between them.
That is one of my favorite things about Relay For Life. Where else can you fight against all cancers at the same time?

and their fight against Cancer. It gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the world and build a world with an end to cancer.

Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love.
Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Like so many others, breast cancer is a very personal cause for me. It gives me the chance to make a difference and to honor those touched
by breast cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research, and services for people dealing
with breast cancer. I believe that there will come a day where the pain caused by
breast cancer is a thing of the past. And until it arrives, I'm walking to inspire
hope to those facing the disease and raising money for the American Cancer Society's
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event to help save lives from breast cancer.
Every day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their risk of breast cancer or
find it early when it is easiest to treat. They provide free information and services when and where people
need it throughout their journey to get well. They are investing in innovative research to find, prevent, and treat breast cancer.
I have signed up to walk and fundraise for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
I hope you will consider joining me and/or making a donation in support of my efforts. Together, we can make a difference.
Breast cancer affects everyone - it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman. That's why I'm stepping up to fight breast cancer with all I
have. Since I'm in a position to make a difference within my community, I believe I have an obligation to do so. By raising money and
awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, I'm helping to save more lives from breast cancer.
Every day, the American Cancer Society is saving more lives from breast cancer than ever before. They're helping people take steps to
reduce their risk of breast cancer or find it early, when it's easier to treat. They provide free information and services when and where people
need it. They fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and they're working to ensure access to mammograms for women who need
them.
