My Reason to Relay I Relay in memory of my Mother, Marilyn Sue (Doney) Durbin, and my paternal Grandmother, June (Gillen) Durbin. I also Relay in honor of many relatives, friends, and coworkers living with cancer and those supporting them in their fight. In memory of Joan Camp, Lisa Tucker DePratt, Tim Wright, Nancy Wehrell, Ray Collins, Pete and Carolyn Peterson, Bob Durbin, Great Aunt Kate, Great Aunt Marge, and Great Aunt Ilene. I also Relay in memory of many other relatives, friends, and colleagues lost to cancer. I Relay because I want to see an end to cancer during my lifetime, care given to the people living with cancer, and support for the people providing care. Relay for Life gives me the unique opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled or are battling cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society's mission by fighting against a disease that has already taken too much from too many families. |

Relay for Life gives me the unique opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled or are battling cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society's mission by fighting against a disease that has already taken too much from too many families.
Please support my efforts to fight cancer by making a donation or joining my Relay For Life® team.
Your efforts will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide current cancer information, advocate for access to screening and treatment, and offer programs and services to improve the quality of life for people battling cancer. By being a part of Relay, we are joining a worldwide movement to help defeat cancer for future generations.
Your support allows the American Cancer Society to continue:
Fighting cancer in city halls, statehouses, and Congress by elevating the patient voice to advance policy change through the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)
Ensuring no one feels alone at any point on their cancer journey, from prevention to survivorship, and, for some, the end of life.
Investing in breakthrough science to find more - and better - treatments, uncover factors that may cause cancer, and improve patients' quality of life.
Ensuring that all people have a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. ACS and ACS CAN believe all people should have a fair and just opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from cancer regardless of how much money they make, the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, gender identity, their disability status, or where they live.
Thank you for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
Many thanks to our generous sponsors for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.

This isn’t what I wanted.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
