Why I Relay Cancer has affected so many people I know and love that it feels necessary to support Relay For Life. 2021 was my turn but luckily surgery removed it. Cancer never sleeps and patients get no break from it. That's why our team is committed to having at least one person walking for the entire 24 hours of this event. I have done my small part to fight cancer since 2007 when I did my first cancer walk. Promises to Keep is a wonderful group of people who walk and raise money to fight cancer. This cancer-fighting powerhouse has raised over $500,000! Will you help us continue? I can make a luminaria to honour or in memory of your loved one. We will line the track with them and when it gets dark they will glow like thoughts of our loved ones in our hearts. Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide. 15.5 MILLION. That's huge.
