Why We Relay I am a 26-year Breast Cancer Survivor and participating in Relay For Life is my way to give back. Cancer has also affected many of my coworkers and loved ones. I participate in Relay For Life as the event lead for our event and I also formed this team at work to try to make a difference in the fight against Cancer - we will fight back for our coworkers and loved ones who cannot.
Relay For Life of Wood County, WV is a community-based event, which means no two Relays are the same, but they all support the American Cancer Society's mission and help to spread Cancer awareness.
The funds that we raise will support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide. 15.5 MILLION. That's huge. That's why we would love to have your support. Will you come walk with us? And if you can't would you be so kind as to make a donation to our team? |
