I Relay because…I became involved 25+ years ago, long before my own diagnosis. My first diagnosis was bladder cancer in 2012. My second diagnosis was blood cancer (Leukemia-AML) in 2021. I have been through several rounds of chemotherapy a clinical trial and two stem cell transplants. I am currently in remission, but it’s still a battle. I’m thankful and blessed to be aliveThis fundraiser is a community-based event, which means no two Relays are the same, but they all support the American Cancer Society’s mission. My campaign to help fundraise for the ACS's 2024 Clark County Relay for Life is important because ACS is dedicated to helping fight all types of cancer. I appreciate their committment to research and the support they offer to those battling cancer.I encourage you to participate in this fun activity for a great cause. If you are not able to participate, I encourage you to support me with a donation so that together we can help beat cancer!I'm thankful and blessed to be a two-time survivor.
