Why I'm Participatingin a Relay For Life Event I know there are a lot of worthy causes to support, but I think participatingin an event that helps save lives from cancer is about as worthy as it gets.That's why I decided to raise funds and walk in an American Cancer SocietyRelay For Life event. Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their own personalbattle or through the battle of someone they love, and this disease has takentoo much from too many. I'm participating in the Relay For Life event because Iknow I am making a difference in the fight to end cancer by raising funds andcancer awareness. A Relay For Life event is not only a way to join my community to fight backagainst cancer, but it is also a way to inspire hope by raising funds andcancer awareness to help those facing a diagnosis. Why I'm Fundraising By raising funds and walking in a Relay For Life event, I am participating inthe American Cancer Society's lifesaving mission, and I would really appreciateyour support! The funds I raise helps fund important cancer research,supports cancer patient programs and services, and goes toward other importantactivities that help save lives from cancer. Why I Volunteer with the American Cancer Society By walking in a Relay For Life event I join more than four million globalvolunteers who are dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer. This is myopportunity to honor the cancer survivors in my life, remember friends andfamily I have lost, and to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society'slifesaving mission.
