Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
Schools vs Cancer is the American Cancer Society's Middle School Engagement Program. Middle schools can support their local Relay For Life events by fundraising while learning about topics such as Healthy Eating, Physical Activity, Sun Safety and Tobacco Prevention. Middle schools enrolled in Schools vs Cancer can receive grants based on their fundraising total to use on items the school may need, for example new gym equipment, sun safety area outside, sunscreen stations, student incentives, etc.
- Raise $1,000-$2,499, receive 10% back as a grant
- Raise $2,500-$4,999, receive 15% back as a grant
- Raise $5,000+ receive 20% back as a grant
