Under the dedicated leadership of Stan Cherrie, The Rotary Club of Leavenworth, Kansas has raised some $250 thousand in support of the continuing fight against Cancer over the past decade. As Stan and I prepare to move out into the pasture, Rotary #210 will field our usual veterans but we intend to add many new faces (and some fresh energy) to the fight. Tune in to watch the roster grow as we move to September. Most importantly we solicit your support, both financial and presence, as we seek to set new records for the Greater Leavenworth County area. If you have another team you want to enter (please do so!!!) and support (please do so!!) but, it you are so moved, the Rotary Team both encourages and appreciates your support. Don't forget: in the end, every dollar goes to fight against this dread disease, whatever else you may do, get into the fight!!
