Team Kick-It 2024!

Meet bet. 8-8:30am at the TEACHERS FCU tent. We will walk at 9am. (Trying as a group, but it’s okay to go at your own pace)

 

Do you need to register for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer? 
All participants (excluding children) must register for this event. This can be done beforehand online, through our website, or mobile app., or at the event, by visiting one of our check-in stations at field 5. You can also register over the phone by calling 800-227-2345 option 4. 

Is there a registration fee?
There are no registration fees, or fundraising minimums to attend. Fundraising is encouraged! 

Are there community service hours available for volunteers and walkers? 
You can earn 5 hours of community service by volunteering or walking with us! Students receive 5 hours for participating and can pick up their form at the Field 5 check-in tent.


Team Kick-It!  is back for the 4th year!  We are raising funds and creating our own teams this year all with Breast Cancer in mind.  

Believe us, every dollar really does count, so we're asking for your help. Please donate or join our team today, because together we can end breast cancer!

This year I'm working on several fun events to help raise money and breast cancer awareness.  I'm hoping this year everyone I know can be included in some way.

Friday, October 18th  - "Think Pink" with Mary Kay 

*You're Invited to a Mary Kay event at my home made just for us.  Purchase proceeds will go to Team Kick-It 2024 and ACS.   

Saturday, October 19th 12-2pm - Mammo Party

*Come get your Mammo done with me.  Enjoy Lunch and loads of fun at Pure Mammography in Roosevelt Field Mall.  Gifts, Pictures, Prizes, Raflles...and Lots of Laughs.

Sunday, October 20th 8am -12Pm - Jones Beach MSABC Walk 

*Walk for a cause.  Come out and enjoy the morning with thousands fo others.  Bring your, kids, staff, family & friends.  Build teams and memories that will last a lifetime.

Welcome to our Team Page. We've formed a team because this cause is important to us. We want to help. And walking and raising money in our local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is the best way we can do that. We all have different reasons for participating but we share a determination to help save lives from breast cancer.

There are so many ways that the money our team raises helps. It’s helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It’s providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause.

How We Support the American Cancer Society

Of course we walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. And we solicit donations from family, friends, and other supporters. But we also schedule fundraisers in lead-up to the big event. Bake-sales, car washes, and countless other types of events. And we promote those on social media, through Facebook and Twitter, by word of mouth, and through flyers at work and around the neighborhood. The success of fundraising events depends on two things - hard work and getting the word out. And we're out to do both. Keep an eye out for our fundraising events.
