In the heart of our family lies the matriarch, Yolanda Barth, whose journey with breast cancer spanned an astonishing 17 years. Her enduring strength and unwavering courage left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Yolanda's daughter, Margot Vazquez, faced her own battle when she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer at a mere 38 years old. Her fierce determination to fight was fueled by her love for her two young daughters. Despite her valiant efforts, Margot's journey came to a heartbreaking end at the age of 42. Determined to transform pain into purpose, Margot's Angels was born. Our mission is simple yet profound: to honor the legacies of Yolanda and Margot by ensuring that no other family has to endure the same fate. We believe in the power of research, awareness, and support to create a brighter future for those impacted by breast cancer. As we prepare for our 9th participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, we invite you to join us in our mission. Your support, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference.
