Why I Support the American Cancer Society Cancer has impacted many people I care about, but my experience is particularly personal. In 2009, I was diagnosedwith stage 2B osteosarcoma and faced the possibility of paralysis due to tumors compressing my spinal cord. Thanks to the innovative treatments from my oncologists, I’m now able to lead a normal, healthy life. This journey has motivated me to support the American Cancer Society. I’m participating to inspire hope for others battling cancer and to raise funds to help end it for everyone. The funds we’re raising will fund essential research and provide vital services for those navigating their cancer journey.
