American Cancer Society by Making Strides
Welcome to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Omicron Omicron Zeta Chapter's Team Page!
Almost everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way, so our Sorority decided to make a difference all over the country by walking and raising money in local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events. Omicron Omicron Zeta Chapter who serves the communities of Gloucester County, walks in the South Jersey event in Pennsauken, New Jersey. One of our members is a Cancer Survivor who walks.
Our Chapter Supports a World without Breast Cancer
This year in addition to participating in the Walk, on October 10 the chapter conducts Paint the Church Pink, an information sessions at a local church. On October 8th, chapter members conduct Real Zetas Wear Pink Day by wear pink and provided informational fact sheets to the community.
Today 1 of every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to the American Cancer Society for help and support. The donations our team raised will enable investment in groundbreaking breast cancer research, free information and services for women diagnosed with the disease, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Our donations will help more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors celebrate another birthday this year!

Saving lives from breast cancer starts one team, one walker, and one dollar at a time. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. knows that the American Cancer Society is the leader in the fight to end breast cancer. We know that supporting the ACS will ensure that if you need someone to talk to anytime of the day or night, they'll be there. If your friend is losing her hair from chemo, your mother needs a ride to treatment, or a loved one needs a place to stay when treatment is far from home, the ACS will be there to help.

And we promote those on social media, through Facebook and Twitter, by word of mouth, and through flyers at work and around the neighborhood. The success of fundraising events depends on two things - hard work and getting the word out. And we're out to do both. Keep an eye out for our fundraising events.
