Why We Relay Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We’ll spend the next few months fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others. Together, we’ll be a part of making a difference in this important cause. Every year we gather with family, friends, coworkers, survivors, current warriors in battle, caregivers and community members to come together and help in the fight against cancer. Cancer. You do not realize the devistaion and havoc this short, simple 6 letter word causes until it affects you personally. In 2021, over 1.9 MILLION people were diagnosed with cancer. 2023 marks our 5th year as a team with Relay for Life of Westland-Wayne. Our first 7 years we relayed in Garden City. We want to say thank you for everyone who has supported our team, Too Inspired to be Tired! We have raised almost $200 to date and will be fundraise through the end of the relay year, August 31st. Our event has raised over $8,000 to date for the 2023 Relay season! Please join us in the fight to find a cure for cancer!! Thank you to our sponsors and donors, without your help, we would not be where we are in this battle!!
