Welcome to our Team Page. We've formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. This year we are trying our best to honor our beautiful girl, Stephanie Alvarez who lost her incredibly hard battle against this devastated disease! She was everything amazing and good in this world. She was beautiful inside and out with a great sense of humor and a love for animals, her friends and family. Even through her most sick days and treatments, she kept her sense of humor and a smile. Our goal for this year’s team is to honor her so no one else ever feels the pain that we did watching Stephanie fight. We'll spend the next few months fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause.
