The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives,
celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. As a
106-year-old organization we are proud of how far we've come in the fight
against cancer, but we are never satisfied with status quo. And we know our
participants, donors and sponsors expect us to be never satisfied – to
continuously improve our programs and services to be most effectively helping
the most people and efficiently using our donor dollars.
With
this in mind, the American Cancer Society has made the difficult decision to
cancel the Over The Edge.
We’re most thankful for your commitment to Over The Edge and
the American Cancer Society’s mission. As an organization that is committed to
the highest standards of stewardship and making the greatest possible impact
against cancer, we felt this decision was necessary to ensure the greatest
possible return on our donors’ and volunteers’ investment in our shared
mission.
We sincerely hope you will stay involved in our mission.
Your support is making a difference. Please don’t hesitate to contact me
if you would like more details, or to talk about more events we have this
fall.
Thank you again for your continued support.
