Sole Burner 5K Walk-Run
The Kitty Katters
Join the Fight to End Cancer! On September 2, 2013, Chris Dantoin lost his battle with cancer, and the world lost one of the most unique, awesome, and inspiring people you could ever hope to meet. While Chris was a unique person, his battle with cancer is unfortunately not unique. The Kitty Katters debuted as a team in the 2014 Sole Burner to honor the memory of Chris and the unique and awesome person that he was and continues to be is so many hearts. His parting advice was to "find happiness by enjoying the moment you're in." Being a part of our team or donating to our team is a great way to not only honor Chris (or anyone else you know that has been impacted by cancer), but to follow his advice. By helping in the fight against cancer, we have a chance to live in a world with less cancer and more moments to enjoy. Together we can make a difference! Please join us in the fight. Join our team or Donate to our team and help us save more lives! Our team’s participation supports the American Cancer Society, the leader in the fight to end cancer. The donations our team raises will enable investments in groundbreaking cancer research and free information and services for people facing cancer. For more than a century, the American Cancer Society has led the way in the fight to end cancer and we are excited to be part of their team.

HOW FUNDRAISING IMPACTS YOUR COMMUNITY
Cancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
august 2019
Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
Calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support.
Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge® communities.

Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
