Hockey Fights Cancer Assist West
Pacific Ridge Hockey Club - We Fight for Patrick
Welcome to our Team Page. We've formed this team because hockey is a family and cancer has touched one of our own. Patrick O'Donnell, Pacific Ridge Hockey Club Alumnus, Goalie, Jersey #31, Class of 2020 and Goalie for the University of Utah Men's D2 team, was diagnosed in August with an agressive glioblastoma multiforme grade 4 after a biopsy. This disease is rare in one so young and healthy. He is in the heat of the battle and hoping to get a shutout against this disease. We will be honoring Patrick throughout his fight and supporting him and his family in anyway we can. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society; all of the funds raised will go directly to the American Cancer Society. The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause.
