WE WILL NOT LET CANCER TAKE THE WIN! Welcome to our Jr. Ducks 10UB Team Page. We've formed this page because cancer has touched all of us in some way. This season our hockey team had the pleasure of having David L. as the Head Coach of our Jr. Ducks 10U hockey team. Coach David stepped up to help this group of kids when they needed him most! After the team had a rocky start to the season, he selflessly made this group of boys and girls his top priority. He changed the dynamic of our team, and he pushed these kids to work hard on and off the ice. Sadly, several weeks ago Coach David was diagnosed with Leukemia. He has stepped back from our team to focus on his battle with cancer and we greatly miss having him on the ice with us! To show our love and support to our Coach, we have set up this site to help raise money for cancer awareness in his honor. Every penny we raise goes directly to help fund patients and their families who are affected by cancer. The American Cancer Society has made it their mission to ease the burden and stresses for those dealing with these diseases. We hope you will join us by donating to our cause! ANY SMALL AMOUNT HELPS! In addition to our fundraiser our team has chosen to dedicate our final home game of the 2022-2023 hockey season to Coach David. On the day of the event, Sunday 2/26/23, we will honor the lives lost to cancer, cheer on those fighting cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others. Please help us make a difference, show your support and let’s put cancer in the penalty box! We fight for Coach David and all those affected by cancer!
