Welcome to Team Del Goder! 

 

Our team was created in honor of Amy Del Castillo. If you didn’t know Amy, well you really missed out on a good one. Amy was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. And those were just a few titles that explained who she was. So a little bit more about what she was. She was compassionate, caring, understanding, loving, and more than anything lived her life for her family. Amy loved nothing more than watching the people around her live and love life- so that’s exactly what we are going to do! 

 

This will be the Del Goder team’s 4th year in the ACS bike a thon. Over the years we have raised over 15 thousand dollars!!!!! But as we all have been affected by cancer someway somehow- I am sure you know you can’t put a price on losing the one you love the most. 

 

Please join our team in support to help us meet our fundraising goal this year and most importantly put an end cancer!

How Fundraising Impacts Your Community

Cancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.

As of January 2022, we have invested $400 M for potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.

We have received over 250,000 calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support in 2021

Cancer patients benefited from ACS transportation support through our Road TO Recovery program and transportation grants in 2021, with nearly 229,000 rides provided.
