Hockey Fights Cancer Assist
Bridgewater-Raynham Boys High School Hockey Team
Welcome to Bridgewater-Raynham HS Boys hockey team and their fight against cancer. We've formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next three months fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on 1/20/25 when we play in our third annual Hockey Fights Cancer game, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others. Leading up to our game day, the team will be busy selling Thanksgiving pies, apparel and hosting a holiday season Memory Tree and Chipotle night. We are also soliciting donations from businesses for our raffle/auction with 100% of the proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society. This year the team is also being honored for their fundriasing efforts by being invited to the American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Boston to serve lunch and visit with the patients and their families. The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives and over the past three years our team has raised over $22,000 for this organization. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause. Join us. Donate today. Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
