Pan Ohio Hope Ride

Dylan Acerra decided to participate in his first Pan Ohio Hope Ride in 2019 as a solo rider. The following year, he recruited me to join him, forming the Cool Cats team. With the 2020 POHR on hiatus due to Covid-19, we rode the two day, 165 mile altered Hope Ride around Central Ohio in 2021. As the POHR back on track to across across the state again in 2022, the Cool Cats added Andy Oakes, Al Skierski, and Eric Bartkowski to the team to ride more miles across the state. In 2023, Shelley Pippin personally joined the riding team to go along with all the donations she helped us raise from Brew Nuts along with Doug Foster and Jordan Furdock. The 2024 team has also added Mr. Brewnuts and former Cool Cat equipment manager/head cheerleader, John Pippin as another rider as well as Dave Slanina. We’re fundraising for the American Cancer Society as we ride our bicycles 328 miles from Cleveland to Cincinnati over four days. The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways like helping fund innovative research, providing free information for people dealing with the disease and rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home because, unfortunately, cancer has touched all of us in some way, and we want to stop this from affecting others in the future. Really, our money is helping save lives. Consider donating to our team and helping advance the cause. Also keep an eye out for social fundraising events and Modern Methods Brewing Co.
