Welcome to the Team SC Flyers Page. We've formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way, whether it's a player, a player's mom, a player's dad, a player's aunt, a player's uncle, a player's grandmother, a player's grandfather, a player's cousin, a coach, a coach's relative...you get the idea. Whether we're fighting against cervical cancer, gallblader and bile duct cancer, colorectal cancer, kidney cancer, multiple myeloma, anal cancer, esophageal cancer, testicular cancer, head and neck cancer, skin cancer, brain cancer, melanoma, bladder cancer, sarcoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), childhood cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma, prostate cacner, thyroid cancer, breast cancer, male breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, carcinoid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors... there are too many to name, and so many reasons to fight.

Hockey Fights Cancer unites the hockey community in support of people facing cancer and their families. This initiative gets an assist from the entire hockey family. Together, the hockey community wants to inspire hope and courage for all people who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer. We are going to spend the next several weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society through the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative. During designated events, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
