Team Progress
Our team rode in 2023 and we’re excited to ride again in 2024! In 2023, two of us raised $1287. I hope to have more team members along for the ride in 2024 and raise even more money for the ACS!
Many types of cancer have affected so many people I know and love that it's inspired me to join this American Cancer Society event. Multiple types of cancer have affected a number of family and friends. My sister Danielle is bravely fighting and kicking ass after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in February 2021. Danielle also had and beat thyroid cancer when she was younger.
I ride for Danielle Peters, Mrs. Timko, Joann Brewer, Denise Adams, John Kirschner, Mrs. Kovacs, and in honor of Harry & Regina Dellerose and Frank Moon.
Taking part in this event gives me the chance to make a difference and honor those touched by cancer by raising awareness and funds for groundbreaking research and services for people dealing with cancer. I'm also participating to inspire hope for those facing the disease and raising money for the American Cancer Society's event to help save lives from cancer.
Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide.

Thank you for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
Cancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
As of January 2022, we have invested $400 M for potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
We have received over 250,000 calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support in 2021
Cancer patients benefited from ACS transportation support through our Road TO Recovery program and transportation grants in 2021, with nearly 229,000 rides provided.
Many thanks to our generous sponsors for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
This isn’t what I wanted.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
