TCS New York City Marathon
Exact Sciences
Team Exact Sciences is a dedicated group of advocates united in the fight against cancer. Our aim is to make meaningful contributions to the ongoing cancer battle, and with your support, make a lasting impact. Donations will directly benefit the American Cancer Society, advancing their efforts to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
We run in memory of those we've lost, to celebrate survivors, and to support the caregivers who provide tireless care. Each of us has a personal reason for participating, and our "why" is different for everyone:
Meg Miller, Fitness Coordinator I am running the NCY marathon in honor of my mom who passed after a battle with cancer. It’s an honor to support and live our mission.
Kong Xiong, Senior Manager of Research and Development Exact Sciences is at the forefront of cancer screening and detection. What better platform than a world marathon major to promote the importance of early cancer screening and detection? Running a world marathon major is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The five boroughs of New York City offer an iconic backdrop for the 26.2-mile journey.
Jamie Page, Senior Director of Real Estate I lost my father to cancer at the age of 54, something I think about almost every day, particularly now that I am in my late 50’s. I’m running to help raise awareness of the need for continued focus on research, preventive care, screening, and hopefully someday, a cure. The marathon, and the training that comes with preparation, serve as a reminder that the fight to eradicate this disease must always remain at the forefront of our minds.
Beth Townsend, National Accounts Lead Representing Exact Sciences at the NYC Marathon is an incredible opportunity to showcase our commitment to innovation in the fight against cancer through my passion of running. Running through the streets of New York, surrounded by other inspiring participants and supporters, is a chance to highlight the importance of early detection and prevention in cancer care. I’m eager to connect with the community, share our mission, and demonstrate how we can make a difference, one step at a time!
Grace Conroy, honorary team member Running the NYC Marathon with the American Cancer Society (ACS) last year was one of the most special things I have been a part of. I am running again to inspire hope for those facing cancer and to raise money to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone. This year, I am running in honor and in memory of my Uncle Pat. I am inspired by my sister, Meghan, who performs surgery every day to help eradicate cancer, and my dad, Kevin, who has dedicated his career and life to early cancer detection.
Panda Czech, Process Development and Automation I’m excited to represent Exact Sciences at the marathon because it's a small example of how we value health and wellness beyond our mission to eradicate cancer.
Thank you in advance for supporting Team Exact Sciences and the American Cancer Society. Your support is making a difference!

I am specifically touched by the ways the NYC ACS community comes together to support those fighting cancer. The funds I’m raising will sustain critical research and provide services for people trying to cope with their cancer experience. Together, we can make a big difference in the fight against cancer.
