2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Happy Puppy Victory (HPV) Runners
We are HPV Runners, a team driven by our passion for running and our commitment to fighting cancer. This year, our team has an opportunity to run at the Bank of America’s Chicago Marathon happening on October 13, 2024. We invite you to join us in supporting an important cause. Inspired by the journey of one of our own team members, Crista, who courageously battled and overcame cervical cancer in 2023, we have taken on the name HPV Runners, dedicating ourselves to raising awareness and funds for research into the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), a leading cause of cervical cancer. Our participation in the Chicago Marathon is not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer. We have partnered with the American Cancer Society, a vital organization committed to advancing groundbreaking cancer research, providing crucial patient support, and advocating for cancer prevention and early detection. We have set an ambitious fundraising goal of $14,000 to support their remarkable work. With your help, we know we can achieve our fundraising goals in the fight against cancer!
