How does COVID-19 impact Making Strides events?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Making Strides might look different from market to market this year, but our passion and commitment to fight against breast cancer is unchanged. The health and safety of participants is our number one goal. Please check your local event website regularly for important details, which will continue to be updated based on unique local needs. You may also review the COVID-19 Waiver.


Is there a registration fee?

While most events do not include a registration fee - this may vary depending on your location. Find your closest Making Strides for more details.


How can I register additional family member or team members?

All registered participants must sign up using their own email address to create an account. If you wish to register an immediate family member (child or spouse) please use their account or contact us at 1-800-227-2345, option #2.


Is there a fundraising minimum?

While we encourage you to set a personal fundraising goal and try and meet or exceed it, participants are not required to raise a minimum amount.


Do I get prizes for fundraising?

The Making Strides Rewards program is our way of thanking you for your creativity and passion. You’ll earn points for every dollar raised online to help us defeat breast cancer.


If I signed up last year, will I be able to access last year's address book and fundraising page?

As long as you sign up with the same username and password as last year, you'll be able to access your personal address book, list of donors, and fundraising page from the year before. This will make it easier than ever to get started!


I’ve already created a fundraiser on Facebook. Can I connect it to my fundraising for Making Strides?

Facebook Fundraisers linked to your Making Strides fundraising need to be started either from your fundraising Dashboard or ACS FUNdraising app. Once you are registered, simply click the blue “Continue with Facebook” button and grant your one-time access within Facebook to begin!
