LOCALLY - Did you know that the American Cancer Society offers wig clinics and free wigs to women under going Chemo therapy? Did you know that they have 24 hour phone support available for patients with questions or concerns? Did you know that the American Cancer Society provided more than 7,000 rides for patients to treatments this year? Did you know that every day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their risk of breast cancer or find it early when it is easiest to treat. Today 1 of every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to them for help and support. They provide free information and services when and where women need it throughout their journey to get well. As many of you know, Sharon Emich was diagnosed in May of 2013 with breast cancer. Sadly, she lost her fight on February 26, 2015. Her family and friends continue to walk each year to honor her memory and continue to help others as they battle this devasting disease. Please consider making a donation.
