Who could have ever predicted all the chaos the last few years had in store for us!  I know very few people that haven't been impacted by all the events during these years....  but one thing that is still the same is people are still being diagnosed with cancer.  They are still dealing with the challenges of treatments and surgery all with the extra burden of COVID 19 restrictions.  People are still dealing with the diagnosis and treatment and thankfully people are also being cured!  That's the conversation I want to focus on - the signifiant breakthroughs that have been made in recent years due to the work funded by donations to the American Cancer Society. 

There are so many ways that the money our team raises helps. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives.
