Why am I walking?

 I thought today, July 17, 2022 was a great day to start my 2022 fundraising campaign.

This year marks my 12 year survivor anniversary. I am still very committed to my fundraising, I just can't stop trying to help others going through the process of life with cancer. Please donate to American Cancer Society Making Strides walk and you will help other cancer patients during their difficult time plus continue funding research. It's so important to keep finding a cure.

I know that by raising funds and walking in my Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, I will help the American Cancer Society continue to save lives from breast cancer and create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays. How do they do it? Every day, the Society is helping people stay well by helping them take steps to reduce their risk of breast cancer or find it early, when it is easiest to treat; helping people get well with information, day-to-day help, and emotional support to guide them through every step of a breast cancer experience; by finding cures and promising new treatments through funding and conducting research; and by fighting back by working with lawmakers to help all women get access to screenings and care.
