Welcome to our Team Page. As the pandemic continues -- the need to fight the scourge of cancer is even more critical. So many people continue to suffer emotionally, financially, and physically. We ask that you join us in raising money for those battling this disease and for the continued support that the American Cancer Society provides to our first responders and to further cancer research and enable preventative screening and early detection. This team is led by a team of strong women who are current and former Booz Allen employees, each of us has battled breast cancer or has a close loved one impacted by the disease. We’ve participated in this fund drive for the past 7 years, always with the strong financial support and backing of Booz Allen as well as individual contributions from our colleagues and friends. Help us make a difference for others touched by this horrific disease which affects one in eight women. The American Cancer Society utilizes the funds for innovative research as well as support to those affected which includes ensuring patients have access to treatment through free rides to / from their appointments as well as a place to stay for those who must seek treatment far from their homes and of course educational information to breast cancer patients and their families as they come to terms with the disease. In short, the money raised is used to help save lives and will be used in the DMV area. Please join us. Donate today and walk with us on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
