Making Strides of Central New Jersey
L'Oreal Operations - The HUB
We all know someone whose life has been affected by cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as a Breast Cancer Survivor, I’m rallying for the cause by putting together a L’Oréal team to support one of the Breast Cancer Walks happening in late October. I hope you will join the L’Oréal Operations – The HUB Team at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk taking place at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ on Sunday, October 27, 2024. - Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women. - 290,000 people were diagnosed with breast cancer last year. - Each year, about 30% of all newly diagnosed cancers in women are breast cancer. - Approximately 13% (about one in eight) of U.S. women are going to develop invasive breast cancer in the course of their life. - There are more than 4 million US women who are breast cancer survivors and more than 150,000 women are thrivers living with metastatic breast cancer today. The statistics are scary so let’s get together to walk and raise some money for a life-changing cause! Thank you, Sue Ur
