Thank you for visiting my team page. I hope you will be walking with us this year. I was so lucky to have amazing support from friends and family when i was diagnosed and having treatments. I know God surrounded me with these people to get me through the process. I am so grateful to be a survivor and so inspired by the survivors I meet at the walk. Seeing others like my Mom that are 30 year plus survivors gives me courage to believe I have won this fight too. The demons that shake your confidence about a recurrence are kept at bay. I know that not everyone facing this battle has the loving support group I was blessed with. That is a big part of what the walk does giving the ACS funds for support. The research funding is also vital. I know because of research before my diagnosis my treatment regimen was less dreadful than those years before me. I hope that future advancements lead to a cure. I know we all hope for that. So thanks for your participation and donation.

Welcome to our Team Page! Almost everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way, so we've decided to make a difference by walking and raising money in our local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
Today 1 of every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to the American Cancer Society for help and support. The donations our team raises will enable investment in groundbreaking breast cancer research, free information and services for women diagnosed with the disease, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Our donations will help more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors celebrate another birthday this year!
