We are a team of Flatties (those who chose Aesthetic Flat Closure as their surgery option), AFC supporters, family and friends. We walk with Stand Tall AFC. 

Stand Tall AFC is a campaign to de-stigmatize the loss of one or both breasts to cancer treatment
 and to normalize going flat, technically known as Aesthetic Flat Closure (AFC), after mastectomy. 

AFC is reconstruction of the chest wall contour. This is an option that is too often withheld from men and women and at times, even denied. People facing mastectomy deserve full disclosure of all their reconstructive options, including AFC, and to have their informed consent respected. Breast cancer
 awareness month brings thousands of people together. 

This Stand Tall team of flat survivors and supporters will utilize this platform for visibility to promote going flat as a healthy choice and to inspire body positivity!
