The Daisies
Why I Relay
The Daisies were started originally in 2019 in honor of our Mother/Grandmother Barbara Perkins, who unfortunately lost her battle with multiple myeloma.
During the journey of our first year our eyes were opened to how many people in our own lives that cancer has touched. From friends to immediate and extended family, we have all been affected to some degree by this heartbreaking disease. This is our second year to participate in Relay for Life and our team is proud to fight, walk, and fundraise for those who are struggling with this battle.
We would like to invite and encourage people from all walks of life to join us physically, financially, or spiritually in this journey.
Our tent will be serving food and will have a raffle the night of Relay. The event is free to the public and kid friendly. Come see us from 6pm to Midnight.

Be The First To DonateCancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
Calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support.
Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge® communities.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
