Harlan's Homes 4 Hope
Harlan’s Homes 4 Hope has had many names and many different team members over the years but one thing remains constant: Our steadfast desire to fight cancer.
Every single one of us supports the American Cancer Society Relay For Life for a reason. We’ve had a loved one, family member, friend or all of the above face cancer. We’ve been caregivers. We’ve been survivors.
This year, our team lost a cancer warrior: Judy Johnson. After battling brain cancer and surviving, she fought valiantly against lung cancer, bravely going through multiple forms of treatment and ultimately losing the fight in mid-October 2020. She joined our team a few years ago after attending a survivor luncheon with a team member. Once she joined, she was ALL IN, attending regular meetings, raising money, joining the survivor lap and supporting her teammates. She was a light of hope and an amazing friend and teammate.
We dedicate our 2020-21 Relay For Life efforts to her.
Now more than ever, we need your help and support. COVID-19 has put cancer patients at risk attacking already weakened immune systems, delaying cancer treatments, and closing many clinical trials. Because of the impact cancer has had on our lives, we are doing something about it. We joined Relay For Life to remember people we’ve lost and offer up support to anyone in our community who is affected by cancer.
The funds we’re raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time.
We’ve raised more than $185,000 since we started as a team 12 years ago and we plan to reach $200,000 or more this year. Every dollar really does count, so we’re asking for your help.
Please donate today, for Judy, for our friends and loved ones and for a future where cancer no longer destroys lives.

Harlan's Homes 4 Hope doesn't have any donations yet.
Be The First To DonateCancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
Calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support.
Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge® communities.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
