Friends for a Cure
HOW WE RELAY:
We Relay as a team of friends and family members, walking the track \"relay style\" throughout Relay. We transfer our team\'s pink-ribbon PEZ baton as different \"legs\" walk for Friends for a Cure. We volunteer at Relay and enjoy the community feel of the Relay For Life of the Wissahickon Valley.
Throughout the year, our team does many things to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, including sponsoring an incredibly successful Trivia Night!
WHY WE RELAY
We Relay because we know so many who have been diagnosed with this awful disease, including several of our own FFAC team members. We raise money for the American Cancer Society to help provide services to cancer patients and to fund research to find a cure!
Join us in the fight against cancer by joining a Relay Team or donating to a team member!
Together in the Fight,

Be The First To DonateCancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
Calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support.
Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge® communities.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
