McConnell Middle School
Welcome to our McConnell Middle School team page! Cancer has touched many of us in some way, so we decided to fight back by raising funds and walking in our local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event. Our McConnell team is made up of students and teachers. We sponsor many fundraising events throughout the year to raise money.
Gwinnett Relay for Life will take place this year on Friday, May 12-13at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Our team and Archer Cluster theme is:
Its the GREAT CURE Charlie Brown... we will beteaming together with our other Archer Cluster schoolsto raise money and fight back against this horrible disease.
As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission. There will be games and activities taking place all night. We will have our team at our campsite all night.
You can help our team by making a donation. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, one dollar at a time. If you're out and about - stop by our Relay event and campsite. We'll be up All Night because Cancer Never Sleeps.

Be The First To DonateCancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.
Calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support.
Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge® communities.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
