I want to honor the battle and the stories of each cancer patient and the families who are affected by this disease, I felt in my heart that the team Ramirez Strong was evolving. My dad the cure for cancer would one day be found, and he knew that his story was not the only story that needed to be told. Everyone’s story is so unique and different. Everyone's story deserves to be voiced. From the experience I have had, and from what I have witnessed through the last couple of years, I've realized that even though we all have different and unique stories with different endings, there is one quality that extends over us all - cancer patients, survivors, their families and caregivers. We are all Warriors. So to continue to honor my dad and his story, to honor my grandmother’s story, our abuelita’s story, and to honor the lives and stories of all cancer patients and their families and friends who have to watch their loved ones fight so hard, I have decided that Team Ramirez Strong will now be Team Warrior.
