Welcome to Marie’s Champions Relay for Life Team Page!! This is our 14th year at Relay For Life as a team and we couldn’t be more excited. Our team is celebrating the life of a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and survivor Marie Chiucarello. Marie was a breast cancer survivor for 44 years and was proud to tell everyone that there is hope after cancer. Unfortunately in January 2009 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and did not survive this battle. Marie passed away September 17, 2009 surrounded by her family. Marie loved going to the Relay For Life walk and all the social events that went along with it. She was Honorary Chair for the event and she was so proud to be involved. The Chiucarello family is dedicating all our efforts to finding a cure for cancer and keeping Marie’s spirit alive. I want to invite you to show your support in the ongoing fight against cancer by joining us for this year’s event.
