This year's Relay will be different for our team. We started our team because Doug and I both had fathers battling cancer. Along with the family members and friends we had lost or who are still battling, we felt it was the right time to step up and add this cause to our charitable work. Now, it is the autumn of 2022 and we have lost Doug's father to cancer. In September, George Granville lost his battle with prostate cancer. My father is still battling the same disease. We are now more motivated than ever! We have changed our name from Team Simply Posh to Cape Cod Cancer Crushers. We would love to grow our team in this second year and raise even more funds than we did our first year!! The American Cancer Society Relay for Life movement is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
