This year I am doing the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life walk in order to raise money for cancer research. My team is dedicated to my two dads: Stephen Fitzmaurice and Daniel Devoy. Stephen passed away when I was 6 months old of melanoma (skin cancer). He battled cancer for almost 5 years before he sadly lost his battle. Daniel was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2017. When he was first diagnosed the prognosis wasn't bright, but he continued to fight on for three more years before passing in January of 2020. With your help, we can spread awareness and raise money for cancer research so that no one has to suffer like my dads did. Demand better for people with cancer.
