Why we support the fight against cancer: PLEASE DONATE to: AVERSANO’S TEAM ADELINE to FIGHT CANCER Adeline Aversano, our mother, fought cancer for over 5 years and never complained. It's been three years since she lost her battle. We can't imagine her fighting during a pandemic but in our hearts she would've been a trooper and listened to her doctor. She kept a positive attitude throughout her journey, whether she was going to chemo, the hospital, or rehabilitation. Mom made it a social event, often talking to people and making new friends. During her trips she gave advice to those that asked and joked with the aides, nurses, and doctors. Mom was a cheerleader to other cancer patients telling them“that they could do it” and “keep up the good work." She navigated life well and our family hopes that just a part of her “Legacy of Love" lives on in everyone that she touched. We are faced with so much in our lives right now but cancer has no boundaries and continues to take lives. Unfortunatly it has taken a back seat to Covid-19 but has to be supported. Help us fight Cancer! This fundraiser is a communit-based event, which means no two Relays are alike but they all support the American Cancer Society's mission.
