In honor of my mom I’ve joined Relay for life and have created a team for my mom. A team that will cherish her and honor her forever. My mom was a leukemia survivor. She was a warrior.. In 2005 my mom was diagnosed with leukemia, they said if she didn’t come in that day to get checked she wouldn’t have lived. My mom went through it, she fought hard and never gave up. She ended up kicking cancer A$$ and was years in remission. After being in remission she had other health issues that made her life a little hard living. But no matter what she always pushed through with her beautiful smile. She tried everyday to live her life even with the pain. My mom was my hero, a women I will look up to forever, a women I will become. My moms life was taken unexpectedly about four months ago due to a motor vehicle accident. This was so unexpected and hard to believe. My family and I’s life will never be the same, forever my heart will be broken. Because of the impact cancer has had on my life, I'm doing something about it. And that's why I need your support! The funds I'm raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time. Believe me, every dollar really does count, so I'm asking for your help.
