Cancer is no stranger to me. Two years ago I was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer, called Uveal Melanoma. Only five people out of a million are diagnosed each year with this type of cancer… that’s how rare it is. It is a battle I fight each and every day. I am thankful for all of the love and support I have received and would love to give back and continue to support those who battle this awful disease. That is why I chose to join Relay for Life. It is also a great way to raise awareness that cancer doesn’t discriminate. It knows no age, gender, nationality or race. The funds we are raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time. Every dollar counts, so I'm asking for your help.
